The Melville Family Foundation (MFF) has added three senior leaders from the Texas business community to its Board of Directors. The new additions will see the foundation increase its investments in digital transformation amid plans to broaden its outreach in the coming months.
The Melville Family Foundation: Three business leaders join Board of Directors
The Melville Family Foundation has announced the appointment of Fern Johnson, Candace Uduebor, and Antonion Caeser to its board of directors. The Dallas-based nonprofit disclosed the appointments in a press release, eyeing an improvement to its operations.
The foundation currently focuses on ensuring food security, academic excellence, and economic stability for families and individuals in Dallas.
According to the announcement, Johnson brings a wealth of experience to the board spanning multiple decades. In her recent role as CTO/VP at PepsiCo, Johnson earned three Harvey C. Russell Chairman’s Awards for Diversity.
Apart from her stint in the fast-paced Fortune 50 environment, Johnson also has third-sector experience, launching Fenderson Management Group, a consulting firm helping organizations groom leadership around technology.
Meanwhile, Candace Uduebor brings years of experience overseeing compliance for PepsiCo food brands. Uduebor, an attorney with a career spanning government, private, and corporate practice, expressed delight at the opportunity to serve on the Melville Family Foundation Board.
Serving on the Melville Family Foundation Board allows me to support a mission that aligns deeply with my values,” said Uduebor.
Antonio Caesar joins the board with over three decades of experience as a global CIO and IT transformation leader. His years of experience cut across a range of services, including telecoms, nonprofits, and financial sectors.
New additions to spur digital transformation
Randy Melville, Chairman of the Melville Family Foundation, told Charity Journal that the new additions to the board will herald a digital transformation for the foundation. Particularly, Melville cites the appointment of Fern and Tony as decisive additions for the digital transformation.
“With Fern and Tony joining the board, we’re taking a very pragmatic approach to digital transformation, starting with building a strong foundation,” said Melville.
Meanwhile, Melville disclosed plans to set up a centralized document management strategy for the foundation. Furthermore, there are ambitious plans to improve governance around data access and security while streamlining the platforms for managing donors and volunteers.
Melville added that the new appointments will increase the foundation’s overall effectiveness going forward. Despite the new additions, the Melville Family Foundation will not be launching any specific partnerships with the North Texas business community in 2026.
“Ultimately, this work is about enabling growth, helping us reach more families, strengthen partnerships, and bring more resources into the foundation to advance our mission of food security across North Texas,” said Melville.
