Acclaim Autism to open larger West Chester center to reach more families

Acclaim Autism, a leading provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, says it will open a new center to reach more children and adolescents living with autism. The new center, significantly larger in size than the previous one, will set the pace for personalized autism care upon formal launch.

Acclaim Autism to expand autism care with new center

After years of serving West Chester from its center on N Franklin St, Acclaim Autism is eyeing the launch of a new hub. According to a press release, the ABA therapy provider will launch a larger center in the coming months to expand the reach and scope of its audience.

A move to a larger facility comes on the heels of rising demand for ABA therapy services, with Acclaim Autism racing to meet the surge. Currently, the organization has struck partnerships with several schools and daycares in the region, offering center-based therapy and an early childhood program.

While autism spectrum disorder (ASD) prevalence in young children is surging, ABA has recorded a string of successes in improving independence and communication.

“We have seen what high-quality ABA can do for our clients,” said Marilyn De Mers, an executive at Acclaim Autism. “We are excited to expand to a larger space that will allow us to continue to offer services to more families.”

Acclaim Autism will move to its new center on 839 Lincoln Avenue in the coming months. While a formal opening date is still under wraps, sources indicate that the center will be operational before summer.

Bigger space, personalized care

Acclaim Autism, in an interview with Charity Journal, disclosed that the incoming center will offer individual therapy rooms and expansive play areas. Particularly, a larger outdoor space is tipped to provide more playing areas, which Acclaim Autism says will play a key role in developing gross motor skills.

Continuing its streak in assisting children with autism develop communication and socialization skills, a spokesperson disclosed that the new center will blaze a trail in providing personalized autism care.

In terms of scale, the new center has a capacity for approximately an additional 24 families compared to the current location.

Meanwhile, the ABA service provider has earned its stripes as a certified B Corporation. A spokesperson revealed that families will receive equal treatment irrespective of socioeconomic backgrounds.

“We don’t discriminate against families based on funding source,” said a spokesperson. “Over 65% of our patients have Medicaid as their only funding source, and receive the same high-quality care as all others.”

Back in 2025, Acclaim Autism expanded its ABA therapy service to Wilmington, Delaware, following a successful launch in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
