About the Oxford Saïd Future Leaders Scholarship Program

Introduced in 2024 and supported by Wafic Saïd and the Saïd Foundation, the scholarship was created to attract the brightest MBA talent into Oxford Saïd and to sustain the School’s pursuit of excellence in research, teaching, and learning. The program sits within a broader portfolio of Saïd Foundation-backed scholarships, which now includes the Oxford Saïd Jane Jie Sun Future Leaders Scholarships for female MBA candidates, established in 2025 through a donation by Trip.com CEO Jane Jie Sun.

Funding Size

  • Award value: typically up to £40,000 per recipient
  • UK Future Leaders track: up to £40,000, up to 10 awards per year
  • Jane Jie Sun track (women only): full tuition coverage of £78,510 for the 2025/2026 academic year

Who Can Apply

General Future Leaders Scholarship:

  • All MBA applicants to Oxford Saïd are eligible regardless of nationality
  • No separate application is required; all eligible offer-holders are considered automatically

UK Future Leaders Scholarship:

  • Applicants must be ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom

Jane Jie Sun Future Leaders Scholarship:

  • Female candidates of any nationality applying for the Oxford MBA

All tracks require:

  • Exceptional career progression and strong leadership potential
  • Outstanding academic results, competitive GMAT or GRE score, and notable professional achievements
  • Demonstrated communication skills and a commitment to becoming an ambassador for the School

Geographic Eligibility

  • Open globally for the general Future Leaders and Jane Jie Sun tracks
  • UK residents only for the UK Future Leaders track
  • Study takes place at the University of Oxford, United Kingdom

Application Process

No separate scholarship application is required. Candidates apply for the Oxford MBA through the standard admissions process and are automatically assessed for scholarship eligibility alongside their admissions review. All eligible offer-holders are considered at each MBA admissions stage. Early application is strongly recommended, particularly for the Jane Jie Sun track, as scholarship availability cannot be guaranteed at later admissions stages.
