About the Lazord Fellowship Program
First launched in Egypt in 2010, the Lazord Foundation has built the fellowship into a regional institution with chapters across the Arab world and the Mediterranean. The program is built around four core competencies: civic leadership, program management, organizational development, and decision-making. Fellows are placed four days a week inside a host organization working on projects that advance the public good, giving them firsthand exposure to the operational and strategic realities of civil society work.
