100-hour Athens global charity race turns every kilometre into €1
The global initiative is organised by the No Finish Line Foundation. It encourages participants to run or walk as much as they wish over a continuous 100-hour period.
For every kilometre completed, sponsors donate one euro to the charity Together for Children.
The Athens event will run from 09:00 on Wednesday, 22 April, until 13:00 on Sunday, 26 April. Organisers will keep the park open throughout the event, with full infrastructure in place to support participants at all hours.
“Anyone can join the race at any time during the event and take part for as long as they choose, reinforcing the inclusive nature of the initiative.”
Masonic Foundation joins “Freemasons for the Child” programme to support vulnerable groups
Among the group participants, a team from the Masonic Foundation will also take part. This will be under the programme “Freemasons for the Child.”
The foundation has consistently supported Together for Children. It also supports other institutions for children and people with disabilities across Greece.
Additionally, the organizers call on the public to lace up their shoes and run for a cause. It further stresses that every kilometre counts.

Similarly, a Peppa Pig character participated in the London Marathon to raise funds for deaf children. The race is expected to raise about £54,000, which The National Deaf Children’s Society will direct funds to help over 54,000 kids.
