About

The Allstate Foundation is an independent charitable organization established in 1952 and funded by contributions from subsidiaries of The Allstate Corporation. The foundation is dedicated to empowering people and communities to thrive by supporting initiatives that address social challenges, promote community development, and create opportunities for individuals to build better futures. Through its philanthropic programs and partnerships with nonprofit organizations, it works to create lasting, positive change across communities in the United States.

A major focus of The Allstate Foundation is youth empowerment. The organization supports programs that encourage young people to participate in community service, develop leadership skills, and become active contributors to society. By providing resources, educational opportunities, and funding for youth-led initiatives, the foundation helps young people develop confidence, resilience, and the ability to address challenges within their communities.

The foundation also works to disrupt the cycle of relationship abuse by supporting financial empowerment initiatives for survivors and promoting education about healthy relationships. It recognizes that financial insecurity can make it difficult for individuals to leave abusive situations and rebuild their lives. Through partnerships with nonprofit organizations and community programs, the foundation helps survivors access financial education, resources, and support while promoting awareness and prevention efforts.

In addition to its work in youth empowerment and relationship abuse prevention, The Allstate Foundation supports nonprofit leaders and encourages employee and insurance agency volunteerism. Through its Nonprofit Leadership Center, the foundation provides professional development and leadership training to help nonprofit professionals and board members strengthen their organizations. Its Helping Hands programs also encourage Allstate employees and agents to volunteer and support charitable causes. Through these combined efforts, The Allstate Foundation continues to invest in stronger communities, expand opportunities, and support initiatives that improve people's lives.
