Applications are now open for the 2026 Moniepoint Women in Tech Internship Program. This initiative is designed to expand access for young women pursuing careers in technology by offering practical experience, structured mentorship, and direct exposure to real-world fintech projects shaping digital finance across Africa. The internship runs for six months and is fully paid.

About the Moniepoint Women in Tech Internship Program

This program selects 15 women to join core technical and product teams across Moniepoint. Interns are embedded into active teams where they contribute to live projects, gain hands-on engineering and product experience, and receive one-on-one mentorship from industry professionals in their chosen field.

Participants will be placed into one of the following teams:

  • Cybersecurity Engineering
  • Backend Engineering
  • Data Engineering
  • Product Management
  • Mobile Engineering
  • Frontend Engineering
  • Cloud Engineering
  • Quality Assurance Engineering
  • Site Reliability Engineering

Funding Size

  • Fully paid internship
  • Work tools provided for the duration of the program

Who Can Apply

Applicants must:
